Use OpenRealtor in ChatGPT
OpenRealtor connects to ChatGPT as a search source. Ask ChatGPT to find homes or pull comps and it searches real listings through your OpenRealtor account, citing the OpenRealtor page for every home.
Connector URL
https://api.openrealtor.co/mcpConnect it
- In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings → Apps and turn on Developer mode (available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans).
- Go to Settings → Connectors → Create, paste the connector URL above, and choose OAuth for authentication.
- Sign in with your OpenRealtor account when ChatGPT prompts you. That is all — no API keys to copy.
- In a chat, ask something like “find 2-bed condos for sale in Hoboken under $800k” and ChatGPT will search OpenRealtor and cite each home.
What it can do
- search — find real listings for a place, neighborhood, ZIP, or address, each with an OpenRealtor link.
- fetch — pull the full facts for one home (price, beds/baths, size, status, description).
- find_comps and create_valuation — justify a price with comparable sales and a full estimate.
Signed in, always. The connector uses OAuth, so every request is tied to your OpenRealtor account. Nothing runs anonymously and nothing can change your account.
Your plan, your limits. Searches and valuations count against the same monthly allowance as the dashboard — the connector cannot route around your plan.
